Student Travel Awards: General Information

SEERS awards several travel grants per meeting to students giving presentations. Details and a link to the application form will be posted prior to each meeting.

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled (graduate or undergraduate) at a college or university for the semester during which the meeting takes place;
  • Be a SEERS member in good standing at the time of the meeting;
  • Register for the meeting and submit an abstract for presentation (oral or poster) by the student at the meeting (please note: there can be only one presenting author per presentation);
  • Submit SEERS Student Travel Grant Application with attached abstract by the deadline date. Submission instructions will be included on the form.

All information on the application form must be complete. Advisor’s signature must be on the application. Failure to meet these criteria will disqualify the student from a travel grant.
