Nominations for President-elect and Program Chair, 2016-2018

SEERS is currently seeking nominations for the positions of President-elect and Program Chair for the 2016-2018 term. These positions on the SEERS Board of Directors will begin at the 2016 Spring Meeting (which will be organized by the current Board). The President-elect will serve in that position for two years, then serve as President for the following two years and as Past President for the following two years, with a total commitment of six years. The term of the Program Chair is two years. Board members are expected to attend all three regional meetings during each two-year period and to make an effort to attend the CERF meeting during their term, as SEERS conducts a business meeting during the CERF meeting. The President of SEERS also serves on the Board of Directors for CERF and will be expected to attend meetings and fulfill other obligations as specified by CERF.

SEERS is a volunteer-run organization that needs people to serve on the Board and help the organization prosper.  It is a very rewarding endeavor and looks great on your resume and/or tenure package.
